Specific Skills
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a heavy-duty equipment mechanic or similar role.
  • Ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy machinery, including excavators, bulldozers, forklifts, and cranes.
  • Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems in heavy equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in troubleshooting mechanical issues.
  • Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints.
  • Welding and fabrication experience is an asset.
  • Certification in Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanics or equivalent is required.
Responsible For
  • Diagnosing and repairing issues with heavy-duty equipment used in construction, mining, and industrial operations.
  • Performing regular maintenance on machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Inspecting and testing machinery to identify faults and recommend necessary repairs or replacements.
  • Operating specialized tools and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot mechanical systems.
  • Maintaining accurate records of repairs, parts used, and service logs.
  • Collaborating with a team of technicians to complete complex repairs and installations.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards during all maintenance work.
