Caregiver Job in Canada – Visa Sponsorship Available

Overview

CanadaGICC has a client in Toronto, Canada, seeking a compassionate and skilled caregiver to assist with daily living activities for an elderly family member. The client is looking for an experienced caregiver who is attentive, patient, and capable of providing a high level of care. This position offers visa sponsorship for qualified international applicants committed to a long-term caregiving role.

Specific Skills
  • Minimum 1-2 years of caregiving experience, preferably in elderly care
  • High school diploma or equivalent; caregiving or first aid certification is an asset
  • Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills
  • Empathy, patience, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to adapt to a flexible work schedule and live-in arrangement
Responsible For
  • Assist with daily personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Prepare nutritious meals based on dietary restrictions and assist with feeding as needed
  • Support mobility needs and assist with light physical therapy exercises
  • Administer medications as per prescribed schedules and accompany the client to healthcare appointments
  • Provide companionship, emotional support, and engage in social activities to enhance the client’s quality of life
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry, cleaning, and errands as required
  • Document daily care activities, health updates, and report any changes in condition to the family

  • Competitive hourly wage between CAD $20 - $25
