Caregiver with Visa Sponsorship

Overview

CareHeart Canada is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team. This role offers visa sponsorship, with the expectation that candidates will arrange their own work permit. In this position, you will provide essential support to individuals needing assistance with daily living activities, promoting their comfort, safety, and well-being. This role is vital to enhancing the quality of life for our clients, who may be in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or receiving hospice care.

Qualifications

Required Experience:
- Hospice care: 1 year
- Nursing home experience: 1 year
- Assisted living: 1 year
- Senior care: 1 year
Familiarity with caregiving practices, especially in nursing home and dementia care settings.
Physical capability for lifting and assisting with mobility.
Strong communication skills with a compassionate approach.
Certification in caregiving or nursing is a plus but not required.
Dependable, punctual, and flexible with scheduling.

Responsible For

Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
Prepare nutritious meals and support clients’ dietary needs.
Help with mobility and transfers, including lifting clients when necessary.
Engage clients in meaningful activities to support their mental and emotional well-being.
Maintain a safe and clean environment through light housekeeping.
Observe and document any changes in client health or behavior.
Offer companionship and emotional support, especially for clients with dementia.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.

Additional Requirements

Schedule

8-hour shifts with flexible timing
Available shifts: Day, evening, night, and morning
Monday to Friday
Weekend shifts and overtime as needed
On-call availability as required
