Elderly Caregiver Jobs in Canada with Visa Sponsorship

Overview

Global Horizons Elderly Care, a trusted leader in senior care services, is hiring compassionate and skilled Caregivers to join their team in Vancouver, Canada. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about providing exceptional care to elderly clients in a supportive environment. Visa sponsorship is available, with candidates responsible for securing their work permits.

Schedule

  • Flexible shifts: 8 to 12 hours
  • Available shifts: Day, evening, night, and weekend
  • Rotating schedule with on-call and overtime opportunities
Specific Skills
  • 2+ year of experience in caregiving, elderly care, or assisted living
  • Certification in Caregiving, Elderly Care, or related field (preferred)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid certification (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical capability to perform tasks such as lifting and mobility support
  • Patient-centered, empathetic, and adaptable to diverse care needs
Responsible For
  • Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
  • Monitor and document vital signs, reporting changes in health to the nursing team
  • Provide safe transferring, repositioning, and mobility assistance
  • Maintain hygiene and follow infection control procedures to ensure a clean environment
  • Foster emotional well-being through companionship and recreational activities
  • Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to create tailored care plans
Additional Requirements
Visa Sponsorship & Relocation
  • Visa sponsorship available; candidates cover their work permit expenses
  • The company covers airfare to Canada, reimbursable after employment begins
Educational Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Formal training or certification in caregiving or elderly care (preferred)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid certification
Salary
CAD $25\hr
