Registered Nurse – Healthcare Clinic in Canada(Visa Sponsorship Available)

Overview

A client of Canada GICC is looking for a Registered Nurse to join their healthcare clinic in Toronto, Canada. This role provides visa sponsorship, although candidates will need to arrange and cover the cost of their work permit. The position is full-time, with weekday hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and no weekend or on-call shifts, ideal for a professional seeking a balanced schedule in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Specific Skills
  • Clinical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of nursing practices, including medication administration, wound care, and phlebotomy.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for accurate patient documentation and team collaboration.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple patients, and provide timely care.
  • Problem-Solving: Capacity to respond to patient needs effectively and adapt to unforeseen clinical situations.
  • Empathy: Genuine compassion and understanding, with a dedication to providing a high standard of patient care.
Responsible For
  • Patient Care: Deliver high-quality care for 4-10 patients daily in a clinic serving approximately 100 patients each day.
  • Health Assessments: Conduct in-person health assessments to evaluate patients’ conditions and provide effective documentation for medical records.
  • Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications and track patient progress with precision.
  • Wound Care and Phlebotomy: Provide wound care, draw blood samples, and collaborate with the clinic's medical team to support patient care plans.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with doctors, other nurses, and healthcare staff to ensure comprehensive care for all patients.
Educational Requirements
  • Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) or an equivalent degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Internationally Educated Nurses (IENs): Those with a diploma (from outside Canada) often undergo an assessment to determine if their education aligns with Canadian standards.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-3 years of nursing experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a similar role or environment.

Hourly Rate: CAD $35-$55, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.
